Sure the one I no longer have holds up. And it was tossed into a box and shipped.

Why did you cut the bottom out  :?

FWIW, the track on my Killashandra hasn't had any issues with the various temperature/humidity fluctuations that southern New Jersey has been having this summer. And mind you, there is a nice big open spot on the bottom of the layout that exposes about a 12 square inch patch of the Masonite.

Do you mean a 12" square, or 12 square inches (the actual open area is more like 3.47" square)?   :D :trollface:

Of course. That's the way luck is supposed to work apparently.

I had thought that I was going to put throttle components under the layout, but the space ended up only being used for a screw-terminal strip.

12 square inches. An approximately 3"x4" rectangle of open space.
