TSU-4664N Decoder wires

Hi Guys,

I've picked up a TSU-4664N decoder, no harness etc, just the decoder.  Can anybody guide me as to which of the 5 pins in the plug do what, i.e Track power, Motor Power and forward light.

Cheers,

James

This is a replacement sound decoder for a Athearn Challenger locomotive. The harness that was on the original loco, just plugged into this board.
Unless you have the locomotive to test the wires it will be hard to tell which pin is what?
A call to SoundTraxx might be your best bet.

Hi  Woodone,

Yep it came from a Athearn Challenger, its been replaced with something else and this was spare.  Thought I would hard wire it into something else with nice big tender.   SoundTraxx will be my next step, just though I would check here first.

Thanks.

For anybody that's interested its....

Outer two track, next pair in motor, centre one light. I guess the light returns through one of the track poles.

(Thanks to Ted for the answer).
