....could an N scale version, based on their fine, late Challenger mechanism be far behind???
Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
I sure could use these...

Yea, I know, I'd settle for one or two (oil fired of course :D)
Could use several....while they are associated with the UP mainline, they were used heavily in SoCal and over Cajon Pass prior to dieselization, in both freight and passenger service.
Maybe we get lucky, maybe Athearn will do them in N as well?
Maybe we should let ourselves be heard?
Maybe I'm just dreaming...?
