I have a couple of locos I'd like to paint in the Norfolk & Western blue paint scheme. Does anyone make N&W blue paint? Close is good enough.

Hmm... Kiz is playing
horseshoes and hand
grenades again...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

The late, great Sam McCall, formerly a famous custom painter, recommended B&O Royal Blue in the Scalecoat II line for painting Pevler blue units.  Sam's website remains on-line and has a huge amount of information on it... well worth a visit if you are interested in Southeastern railroads...

Thanks, Jerry. I'll check out the website.

ATSF Blue is a slightly better match... but since Pevler blue faded 26 seconds after application, combined with coal dust... just about any blue will work that looks right to you

I agree. It looks very close to the locos I want to paint. Thanks.

Hmm... I still think
Kiz should paint the
locos bright orange...

 :D
in the past have used Polly S Blue.
it was good enuff that the N&W die hards at the Blue Ridge
Lines Club hated the Lionel GP7 shell it was used on.
so decided that is was good enuff for boxcars also.
not sure if Polly Scale has a close match now ??
