When Did Kansas City Southern Go to the White Loco Scheme?

I was wondering when KCS locos first started appearing in the white scheme.

Any help is appreciated.

Hmm... darned if I know...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

I think the white scheme was first used on the SD40s.  I don't know when KCS got theirs but the CGWs were in 1966.

Prior to that KCS and CGW basically had the same scheme correct?

SD40 were delivered in October '66, so it was at least by then.

The GP30's had almost identical schemes, but beyond that, not so much really.  There's a family connection between the CGW and KCS as William Deramus III was president of the CGW from 1949-1957 while his dad was the KCS president from 1941-1961.  Deramus III went to MKT for three years and then became president of KCS from 1961-1973.

The SDs were delivered in white as Jason notes. Existing equipment reprints started after that and the whole fleet was white by 1972 or so. Interestingly the "ghosts"'we're still roaming the rail into at least 2011; so there are photos out there of all three post-1966 schemes in a single consist.
