Dee: I've already reserved one of the L&NW cars. We'll see what happens, but I'm not optimistic.
Of the IM cars I've ordered in the last three years, all but three models have been cancelled. I received a PC flatcar, and the other two have been on backorder for two and three years.
Some of them were apparently never formally cancelled, they just disappeared from the IM website.
IM used to make their parts here, and ship them to China for assembly. If they're having problems in China, which isn't out of reason, I wish they'd at least make the undecorated kits available. There's no reason for them to have to go anywhere.
