Some really good prices at the Trainworld - I just placed an order.

Things like Walthers SW9/1200s for $39.95, Kato GG-1s for $59.99, CMW Aerovan trailer 2 packs for $4.99.
Listed in specials http://www.trainworld.com/manufacturers/model-train-specials/specials-n-scale/

If you mention code S2015 you will get additional 15% off the order (if over $50).  Today is the last days for the coupon.

Last day? Well I missed this window...

The specials are ongoing - the last day is only for the 15% discount.  I almost missed the 15% thing too - I kept postponing my order until today.

The sales and discount coupons always state "No new releases".  Does anyone know Trainworld's definition of new release?  For example, would this apply to Kato's run of F3s or Walther's GP38s introduced early this year?  I have ordered from them for over 30 years  knowing it is their decision, but a gamble on my part regarding the extra discount.

I missed the 15% off, but I did stick the code in anyway to see what happens.  Either way, I finally pulled the trigger on a Bachmann N scale Seaboard 2-10-2 (with DCC!) that I had been eyeing at MBK for several weeks at a blowout price of $129.99 (MSRP is $339.00 and MBK's street price was $253.99).  Trainworld's price was $99.99!  Granted the shipping is a little steep, but it still will be significant less than MBK's sale price shipped.

As always, procrastination pays off in the end!

Thanks, @peteski!

I never really thought about it, but to me it seems that they are talking about any freshly delivered model from a manufacturer.  Even it it is just a fresh batch of some loco which is a 4th re-run of the model. Like all vendors, they try to give people discount incentives to sell their older, lingering stock. But I could be wrong.

Dave:  I'm glad that you found a nice bargain.  Personally I don't think that their shipping charge is all that outrageous. Like you said, in the end it is the total cost that matters.

Picked up an Athearn old-timey 2-8-0 lettered for D&RGW.  It'll probably end up as Colorado Midland Class 115 loco.
