Model Railroader access to back issues

Before I get on the phone to MR, I subscribed to the magazine and added the access to the digital archives.  So far I have not figured out how to access anything other than the current issue, all back issues come up, but there are no hyperlinks to the articles on those pages.  Am I confused here or is this "access" different then the $200 I paid out for the library of back issues last year?  I was hoping to have digital access for research on the editions that were not covered by the initial purchase.  I also assumed this access was for the year, and the way it's billed it's only for a month.

Color me confused.

I ran into the same problem last year. Never did find a way to access.
Gave up.
Hope you have better outcome.

Joe, The All access pass is $4.95 per month and is something completely different than the "Magazine Index" under the home page Resources tab. If you paid $200 last year, I hope you received a DVD from MR? If you did receive the DVD, then basically you received the same thing on DVD that you would get through the "All Access" subscription, minus current issues.  I don't work for Kalmbach, so this is only a guess on my part, but I think they have given up on the idea of putting back issues on DVD's and now offer the same idea through the All Access monthly subscription. If you are paying the $4.95 per month, then you should be able to long into the MR web page and click on the "All Time Archive" link at the top of the page.

Once I log in, at the bottom of my screen there are options to see the contents of the selected issue (listing most but not all articles), see all pages in a thumbnail format, or browse thumbnails of all issues to choose a different one... I can also "flip" through the issue using my arrow keys or the arrow half way up at the edge of the page.

Personally I found it very intuitive... the search feature leaves alot to be desired and the print feature doesn't allow you to scale the images (or to print out at the original size)

As for the cost It was pretty clear it was a monthly subscription, but it can be canceled and reinstated at any time so that's an option...
The Railwire is not your personal army.

Note that all access also includes the videos.

You can get to the digital archive here: http://mrarchive.mrr.trains.com/?utoken=hBMpbvo3gM%2b70Ct3ItVSZw%3d%3d#folio=1

This will no doubt prompt you to log in.

got it now...thank you.  I would think having a large button someplace might be easier instead of having to hunt for the link.

Thanks a ton.
