To celebrate our tenth year in business and to recognize and remember the life and work of the late Leonard Nimoy Jason, Dan, Bill Janet and I are proud to announce that we are partnering with the Lung Association to fight COPD.

We have produced 40 once-in-a-lifetime HO scale (DC) LRC shuttlecraft...... (wink, wink) - "Damnit Jim I'm a doctor, not a hogger..."

These are being offered to the public in a silent auction that is now open at http://rapidotrains.com/shuttlecraft The auction is open until June 1st, midnight. We are very proud to announce that 100% of all 40 winning bids will be donated to the Lung Association (Shipping will be charged separately)

Bidding has already begun; if you are interested get your best bid in and see if you can own a piece of Rapido's railroad history, and support the Lung Association.... "because if your can't breath, nothing else matters......"

Very cool that you are doing this!  (The donation auction.)  As for the model ...  nice detail, but .... well, ummm ... some galaxies might be best left unexplored.

Cool!!.. Out of my scale and price range.. but as someone living with 30% lung capacity and COPD... (Keep in mind I'm a 35 year old non smoker...).. I can appreciate the effort!!!
