April 2016? I'm ready and waiting. Hoping it's closer to 20 than 30. ;)

You do know that @VonRyan is the one doing this?  He's had that exact drawing on other threads.  Nice to see a date finally.

I wonder how he will keep them from curving and twisting.

I have some kits that are resin and brass tops. I do not recall the maker's name.
At least one is quite the sway back.

I think I have 4 one is straight and the other two would look good under a load.

That was the problem with the Ultimate N scale flat cars.

I've a lot of madness to my method... Or something like that.

The goal is to release the kits on the 23rd/24th of April 2016 at the Atlantic City N-Scale Gathering, after which they will then be for sale online starting on Monday, April 25th.

The primary focus at current is to complete the master. Which requires a field-trip to Altoona to see if I can measure the real thing.
The old blueprint tracing see in the flyer only provides basic dimensions. Things Like metal thicknesses, rivet sizes, and support-spacings aren't listed.

Meanwhile, other than other FM related business, I'm stirring the cauldron to come up with some other ideas in the interim.

I feel like you could ask someone nearby to get measurements, or not have to reinvent the wheel. That info has to be out there somewhere.

Honestly, reach out to the PRRTHS. That's your best bet. Less margins for error, too.
