Hi Folks-
I'm new and green to N Scale and I bought this lovely FVM GP60M a few months ago. I'm having problems with the drive or worm gears slipping and I'm no N scale mechanic. After watching the video does anyone have any idea what they are hearing? Thanks.

Paul,
Go to Page 8 of the following thread and you will find a post by me that quoted a drawing by Mike Fifer, recommending where to lube the locomotive. My GP60M was practically dry and made all sorts of noise. Applying oil sparingly helped a lot.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Dave! Worked like a charm. I probably could of been less lazy and do a search for that thread. The unit now purrs right along. Thanks again.
