Ryan:  I knew that taconite pellets had limestone, but not the Bentonite, and had always wondered how iron ore and limestone would stay round.  Powdered Kentucky limestone just turns to mud, then back to powder.

The chutes would be nice to have but I specifically would be modeling the more contemporary conveyor loading system. I'm not sure when I would actually do this but if there were modular parts that would help the situation. I have a scratch built Laker. I'll post some pics later. But it's about 4 ft long so I would need about a six foot dock.

Chutes vs conveyors might not be that hard to do.  If the chutes are separate pieces, so the purchaser could place them as desired, would the conveyors fit the same openings?
