FYI, the ATSF PS-1s have been fixed...

Cory,

They look great, but the "Chief" slogan needs one more change to be correct for car as delivered in 1950. The bottom line should read "All Pullman Chicago-Los Angeles Streamliner".  The words "All Pullman" were not removed from the slogan until after chair cars were added to the train in 1954.  Thanks.

Here is an example of  the "Chief" slogan on a new Bx-57.

Still wishing for another run of n scale DASH 8-32BHW in Amtrak Phase V paint. Wouldn't mind one or two for my Coast Starlight.

Cory,
Any update on if the Chief slogan will be corrected on the PS-1's?
Thanks.

MP555, looking at the pic you posted , there are several differences, apart from the "All Pullman".
Your pic shows the car as a 50 ton nominal, Atlas has 55 ton nominal, light weights are different also.
Door placard is in the high position on your pic, low/offset on the Atlas pic.

George Hollwedel says "An interesting fact is that this BX-57 class was the only entire class with the train slogans and ship and travel slogans on the opposite sides from standard Santa Fe practice".
Which means Atlas would have to flip the slogans from what they illustrate. Your pic shows this anomaly.
Picking nits to be sure, but should be early enough to make a few art changes?
Cheers,
Scott

From the S2 thread:
We have received the deco samples, and the sound decoders are due to the factory this week, so I would hope they ship to us in the next couple of weeks.

So, not likely before Christmas.  Hopefully before Chinese New Year though.
