With the pressure from Greenlight Intermodal N-Scale Contest, I finally finished my container crane.


well this gets my vote without even looking at any other entries! AWESOME!

Thanks for all the comments. It really turned out better than I ever expected but I have to say, being a member of this forum made a difference, too. I got a lot of ideas from other projects that were published here.

Excellent work Roland-I'm quite envious as I could never build anything close or
as well done as this.

I love those stairs too-they put me in mind of the ones in the former Goodyear Airdock
in Akron-a HUGE facility that I was lucky enough to go inside a little over 20 yrs ago-
they had similar sets of stairs to the top-I counted 46 sets if I remember correctly.

Once again, great job.

I don' t know if model ship ways is still in business but I used to work in a LHS and they had stuff that would be perfect for your build .
