Glue for FUD?

I have purchased a few items (Cabeese) from Shapeways and have them soaking in Bestine.  When they come out what is the best glue to put the parts together?  ACC, Goo, etc.?

I use Acc it works just fine.

Tom, make sure to remove all the wax residue off the parts. Layer of wax will prevent the adhesive from sticking.  What to use to remove the wax:  Search the forum for "bestine".

Tom, leave them in at least a day.  Extended soaking won't harm the material.  Take it out and air-dry.  If any wax remains, soak the parts for another day.  Repeat until all the wax is gone.

be sure the Bestine gets all the oils out of the FUD before trying to glue parts on. I have not tried the following on FUD but I can say it will work on plastic and urethane castings. I used it on my AC-9 build. The product is from Bob Smith Industries and is called IC-2000. It was designed for RC car racers to glue tires onto their rims. It is called "Tire Glue". It contains rubber. It holds extremely well and "supposedly" will not crack and deteriorate with age and become brittle. I used small diameter wire "sticks" to place the material where I needed it. I can't tell you about the longevity, because I just used it this past spring. If you can get a small sample from a friend, who fiddles with RC cars, perhaps you might want to try it on some scraps.

PS; I just remembered that I did use the stuff on a couple of FUD printed 18 wheelers and it is holding well.

I use 91/99% alcohol (which ever is available) to clean my FUD piecess then a bath in fairly warm water and Dawn.Then I let them air dry then paint.

To the original question: I use CA and it works just fine.

Maybe this is the answer the OP is looking for: Any glue you would use for resin kits will work with FUD. None of the solvent glues for styrene (the glues which work by melting and welding the parts together) will not work with FUD (or with other resin kits).

Thanks guys; I have ACC, and just bought some Bob Smith Industries IC-2000.  This is a type of ACC with rubber added to provide additional flexibility.  I'll let you know in a week or so how it works.  (I'll be out of town this weekend for a wedding.)

I can't recommend a glue because I usually throw the parts away after seeing them once they're clean.
