They were offering replacement roofs for free to people who had purchased cars with the wrong roofs.

That's what I thought , too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...I placed the order this April or May..Yes, 2014, well after it was established the roof was wrong, and a replacement would come with it...........and I got a car with the wrong roof and no replacement to go with it..... :|

Wow.  You should email them (info@exactrail.com) and request a free replacement roof.

Nil.  But you're a '70s modeller anyway now, right?  ;)

Gary, I will send an email too.  Those boxcars are a real gap in the n scale offerings, and ExactRail are the company to do them.

I've started collecting PC/PRR stuff,  but the layout under construction is still modern Western proto freelance.....

I dabbled with thoughts of changing to a modern coal or period theme, but it's too much work,  I have a lot of concrete ties and frankly
the thin, single track through all this space just looks so good...

Oh - my bad then.  I thought you had fully switched.

Scott, be sure to use their Product Registration web page to suggest new products.  Bit of a poser, but that's how they take suggestions.

No, no, sometimes I have to ask myself what I am up to.
