Off to Cleveland NMRA Convention

Robin and I are off to Cleveland NMRA Convention. We will leave El Paso Today and hope to do some sight seeing while there and meet folks we do business with and customers.

They have underground parking near the convention center (or at least used to), but imagine they will have the Browns Stadium parking lots open.  It's been awhile since I was home and even longer since I ventured downtown.  There is a pedestrian bridge that gets you across the tracks from the stadium to the convention center.  Goes right over the NS waterfront line and Amtrak station.

Wish I could be there, as it's only nearly diagonally the state of Ohio away, but a long-planned family reunion some 700 miles to the east of Cleveland takes precedence.

We are back and had a great time in Cleveland and met lots of great folks. Here is a small slide show of the trip.

Thanks for sharing those pictures Mike.  Those are my old stomping grounds as a teenager and young adult.  The Flats isn't what it used to be from the early 90's, but I still miss home... :(

LOL , so do the thousands of folks already on the pre-order list. The do not have the sample model yet but I was told the price is likely to be under $300.00 retail , for the loco.
