Always glad to see more Geep 7s and 9s. I like the heritage units. I got excited for the MEC unit as that paint scheme hadn't been done by Atlas yet. I was going to change the number then saw it is a GP9 with DBs. Pre-Guilford MEC only had the one Geep 9 and it never wore that scheme. Hopefully they'll run some GP7s in the same scheme.

Quite an offering all together.

What a pity that they forgot (again) to offer an orange MoW Amtrak loco (GP-7/GP-9).

I guess I'll have to make my own pumpkin (from undec), but who offers Amtrak MoW decals? I can't even find Amtrak MoW decals for a black RS-3.

(On a side note, I really hope they offer the GP-9 with a winterization hatch. They usually forget these things...)

Javier

N Scale Enthusiast, back when it was N Scale Collector, did a special run of Amtrak pumpkins in their MOW series.  They did a couple LL switchers as well.  Should be able to find one for sale somewhere.

The BC Rail Dash 8's will sell well here on the Canadian Wet Coast.

I'm not doubting this but I have never seen any pictures of this. Can you point me in the right direction of some early shots of them.

Thanks, Jon

I don't have any pictures, I was basing it on this: http://www.faracresfarm.com/jbvb/rr/bmrr/dieselde.html#GP7

Expensive year to be a Vermont modeler: Rutland and Lamoille Valley RS-3's, Clarendon Pittsford boxcars, NECR Caboose, CV S2, OMYA tankcars.  Atlas has been good to me the last couple years [not so good to my wallet]

How did I miss the Rutland RS-3s?  Must save all the money...
