I built one about 2 years ago using parts the battery boxes, nose, and cab from an Atlas B40-8 and a Kato C44-9W.

Nice model, what did you do for ditch lights? Are they the original Kato ones or custom?

They are the stock ditch lights, I removed the stock railings from them so I could make the correct rails from wire.
