Funny how I was just looking at photos of those after getting side tracked from looking at yards

News to me!  Perhaps this early experience is why Pennsy was so counterintuitively fond of gas-electric "Doodlebug" cars later in its life.

I could swear I remember seeing one of those in PRR paint before too.

Also, there's a restored one in Colorado.

If a more steampunk piece of equipment exists, I've never seen it.

Somewhere I have a photo of a U.P. McKeen car in the yellow/gray scheme. The date was much later than I expected, sometime after WWII. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for posting that Bob, I didn't know the whole list, but I knew there were a lot them and wanted to mention something about it.

The Nevada Railroad Museum bought what was left of one of the CGW cars to help restore theirs to operating condition.
