This layout is being Planned for 2020/21 start as its a rather large undertaking and will require me to do more finishing work in my basement and invest a good bit of $$$

Plan is to model 50 Miles of the Middle division between Denholm and Huntingdon circa 1954. The current design gives me about 266' of mainline run so about 8 Scale miles.

2 Large staging yards will be constructed on either end to hold all the trains. I`m still working on a full list of trains, but I`m going to run all of the scheduled 1954 Passenger trains along with the freights, but I`ll have to come up with a list of extras to fill the holes as most the freights where extras.

Lower level Denholm to Lewistown


Nolix and upper level Lewistown to Huntingdon


The following Interlockings will be modeled:
Wall Denholm
Lewis-Lewistown
Jacks-Mt Union
Hunt-Huntingdon
Deer-Huntingdon

Cool!

What do you think about pulling Lewistown around onto the left wall so that trains come into and out of town with curves bending RR south as on the prototype?  That may also give you an opportunity to stage the branch and help with deck separation over the yard area.

Also a bit more width at Mt. Union could allow for the junction there to have some space.

I know the nolix is implicated by this, but shortening the peninsula for aisle and benchwork space for those two towns might help as well.

Cody, you're still active duty, right?  This is one hell of an investment in time and money that doesn't exactly look "PCS-friendly."

Cody, you're still active duty, right?  This is one hell of an investment in time and money that doesn't exactly look "PCS-friendly."

Nope switched over to the guard and started my GS career along with buying our current house this spring. So moves will be on our terms.

The current layout is super PCS friendly though and I hope to have it be a part of this as the lewistown secondary.

Haha you should know I wont be using unitrak unless it's in a helix or staging
