But those manufacturers don't have a 36' car...  I think the complaint is that the scheme could have been properly put on a closer model, but MTL picked the wrong body shell.

Actually the complaint is that three years ago, Joe made it sound like the 36' cars in the red scheme were imminent, and it hasn't happened yet.  8)

If I didn't have a few of the IM cars, I'd pick up one (I may have the first MTL release as well).  I need a few Swift cars in the 15xxx and 1-149 series, neither of which are made in any scale AFAIK so stand ins will have to for now.

MDC released the scheme in kit form that is closest to the prototype, although the red paint is a little bright and the roof is red instead of freight car red.  That remains the only viable option at this time, and it's not likely to change anytime soon.
