The side of the aftermath that few people get to see: enough oxidizer was spilled in the wreck to contaminate almost 750,000 pounds of soil and other debris that now needs to be disposed of as hazardous waste. We still don't know if it will be shipped in 100-150 roll-off boxes for stabilization/landfill, or if it will have to be shipped in 5000 55-gallon drums for incineration due to all the other contamination preventing safe landfill-disposal of the material. Hopefully the disposal bill gets sent to Mr. Numbnut who couldn't have been bothered to yield at the crossing.
