N Scale SD40-2 Bash Ideas?

I model CSX in the late 90's/early 2000's and I am looking to fill out the roster with a little run through power.  I have a spare Kato Mid-Production SD40-2 sitting around that I would like to use to accomplish this goal.  I would prefer the locomotive to be low headlight, and I would like to do more than a repaint, so a little bit of bashing is a good thing.

Hit me with your best ideas of something unique and plausible to have found it's way on to CSX territory.

Thanks,
Ryan

Why not make it a CSX unit?

Maybe CP? Anything they owned that was close to a mid-production unit had a snoot, but if you want a bit of extra work, that'll do it. Also have to change the steps to the CP 'snow steps' and shave off the beading on the blower duct, and the EMD built units in CP's fleet are early production.
