Caught a former GO F59, now AMXX 1348, making its way west on the Kingston Sub last Sunday:

Chase a fan trip from Boston to the Hudson River on Saturday, then followed an FP9 powered "freight" back on Sunday. They had to get the power back to maine somehow, and running with freight means they're not held by light engine rules.

if you can't conduct yourself, conduct freight

None of your photos are showing on my computer.  Anyone else have this problem?

Excellent Catch!
One has to love the class 66. I especially like that the BR semaphore is still in place. The signal box is quite interesting as well.

Thanks. There's a box at the other end of the yard that's about 3 times the size, but unfortunately it's not easy to get close to to photograph these days. I'll post a few more next week.

Some really interesting photos this week.  Thanks for the contributions, guys.

Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera, because I was out for a run after work this afternoon.  But, I spotted my first NS heritage unit.  The Central of Georgia unit #8101 was parked on the Northeast Corridor at approximately 4:30 p.m. near the former Chrysler Plant yard in Newark, Delaware on the point of a tank car train that's likely destined for the refinery in Delaware City, Delaware.  Sandwiched between the two locomotives and the tank cars was a BNSF covered hopper marked "For Buffer Only.  Do Not Load."

I love being at the right place at the right time.  The C of G unit is one of my favorites.  It was really pretty in person and was still relatively clean.
