Continuing the non train theme. Santa dropped of the in-laws at 6:50 am for a surprise (day early) visit while the wife and I were trying to push the needle on the sleep meter past 4 hours for the night...

Just over 30' LONG 7" Beam (width) and 9" height. Only $99.95 plus free shipping online from "Hobby Tron" . The ship is manufactured by "NQD". My two grown children surprised me with some nice clothes and funny books I never expected.

My young stepson and step-daughter didn't wake up or come after us until 7 am, exactly as we asked, and
they behaved like angels during the whole day,  including while opening presents (please, thank you, taking turns, hooray!),
and during Christmas dinner at grandma's house.

My beautiful wife loves me.

A friend of mine I met via the forums, and who I've met a few times in person over the years, surprised me with
a care package of train goodies he made himself --- something he completely didn't have to do.  He's on here,
but I don't want to embarrass him, so I won't list his name.

That's what I got for Christmas.

Yes, I did get some train stuff, but that pales in comparison to the gestures listed above.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Santa brought me a DJJX Coalveyor in my stocking that I will fill with scrap. Santa must have known they are often spotted on the Ohio Central here in town and all over NS. That is one type of car thant I've never had but it is a nice looking model. He also got me a railroading callender and some new railfanning/work boots, a printer and a new car radio to replace the one that was apperantly needed by somone else more than me.

Your layouts nice, but it needs more Conrail !

Well, my wife is getting a new kitchen. I get to put it all together...  :scared:
Cory, did you at least negotiate enough space on top of the cabinets for an around the room G-scale RR? 8) Or better yet for you,Atlas O?
I didn't get much train stuff this year,a calendar,a book or two,and Hallmark ornaments. What I really wanted this year was a new helicopter, got a Walkera LM180D01 Coaxial with a built in video camera.I really wanted it so I can get oddball videos of train yards,ETC,shots you can't get from the ground.Imagine pacing shots of trains from a heli..Oh yea,the engineers in the area all know me,so,none of those problems..

Along with 3 PRSL cabins and some weathered freight cars, Santa left me a NCC-1701 Star Trek Enterprise Pizza Cutter!

A Con Cor Zephyr (first run, single headlight) soon to become the Flying Yankee of B&M and MEC fame.  I also received this year's Hallmark train ornament.

BTW: That Star Trek pizza cutter is cool as s*%t!

Ian, that sucks. Hope you fellow officer will be ok.

No trains for me, but we're doing Christmas in two parts this year, so there 's hope yet. Or after Christmas clearance at Engine House Services LLC after the Green Bay gun show Saturday.

But can you get it in RP-25 to suit code 55?

Santa, despite having a 20 hour advantage here in Aus didn't bring me a new place to live with room to have even a Brooklyn inspired micro, he also didn't bring me a new job so that I might buy/rent a new place to have said micro and maybe have enough to feed my Conrail obsession .

He also appears to have not brought my lazy housemates the ability and consideration to clean up after themselves.

I did however put all my unitrak on laybuy and I did see a Kato Conrail quality SD80MAC in N scale on consignment at my local hobby shop, now to convince myself not to buy it.

Santa brought me some quality Cherry Cordials (they're all gone), and convinced my son to go to my LHS and pay for the remainder owing on my Athearn Challenger due at Ogden Union Station in March (that's where my LHS is located!)

In return, my youngest son will get a kit-bashed SP GS-3 (from a Kato GS-4) fully DCC-ized (with sound) by the March Hostler's Show.

My oldest son gets a model of my '72 BRE Datsun 510 made from two old Revell kits of that very car that I've had under the stairs for a loooong time.

All in all, Santa was very good to us this year!  Guess that's what I get for being so damn nice!!
