Nice shot Lenny! Fall has not been nearly as colorful this year. Took my shot in Lula Gerogia, about 60 miles north of Atlanta. Southern Oak tree's just tend to hold on to their color late into the fall.

Real nice photo. I took this a few weeks back but I have been too busy to post much. It is an inbound Green Line train in Brookline, Mass.

Nice shot jsl. I've yet to see a CN unit with that back brace location sticker (with the white background). Love those cowl units!

Nice shot Lenny , looks like a tight overhead clearance , by any chance do you have the same picture but with the dome under the cantilever bridge ? Never realized how these things of the past had a tight clearance over modern locos .

Recently (it isn't official until Dec 1), the local Norfolk Southern branch from Warrenville, SC, to Oakwood, with a branch to a couple kaolin mines as well, was sold to Western Carolina Railway Corp. They have a line in Belton, called the Greenville and Western, and the new railroad will be named the Aiken Railway Company.
Today, I hoped to get some shots of a Norfolk Southern Geep or dash-8; turns out control has already been turned over, as LTEX 1543 was parked near some hoppers. Near as I can tell, it's a SW1500, since LTEX engines close to that number on rrpicturearchives.net are SW1500s.
