I don't know if this is based on a real prototype or just a story for the MS Train Simulator:

The MSTS model is a bit of a compromise, as I was by no means able to find or let alone model a US-built railcar that looked quite like the original. The answer, however, came from Czech Republic, when I found Ondra Janis's model of Czech Railways's 850 class RDC to be close enough to the GN car. There are a few trade-offs, the car is slightly too small, it has European-style buffers and three headlights. But if you just see it roll by I think it looks close enough.
 


The model is a Zzech prototype. I can't find the actual prototype he's modeling.

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.
