Illinois Terminal paint scheme?

Can anyone please advise me when Illinois Terminal Railroad  switch from the paint scheme above to the one shown below??                                           Thanks!

You may want to try to reach out to the Illinois Railway Museum as they have an IT geep that they restored.  They may have all of the information you are looking for on paint scheme time frames.  You could try their Yahoo Group.

Your links are correct for pictures hosted on sites other than ones under your control (i.e. photobucker, picasaweb, etc..)

This site would suggest sometime around 1970.

The one on top was the later scheme, not the one on the bottom.

It says in the photo caption that the Atlas scheme was adopted on the GP's in 1971....
