Kato interior light kit Version 2 for passenger cars

I purchased six car sets, and am having some problems in getting them
installed. The complete instructions are in Japanese.

Some are working and others are not.  I am not certain what I have done incorrectly.

It seems that the lens should be installed with the narrow area of the white
printed strip at the end where the lighting unit is connected. So I reinstalled
the lens.  ;)
The lens should snap into the underside of the roof, but I am not
finding the correct location in some cars.
Any one done these who knows the tricks? Please help. Thanks.

Roger-- I bought the DCC module for reversing the lights on the new Metra cab car and had the same issue with the all Japanese instructions.  I went to the Kato web site and they had a translation available so you might check that out.

Best regards,

Roger
