Filler Items for Decal Sheets

I'll admit I have limited experience using decal sheets to print decals using an inkjet.   I think I've done it twice, and while it seemed to work ok, the end result is you can maybe flip the page over and use it one additional time before it becomes problematic to feed.  So, I figured I would come up with other stuff to print out at the same time, ideally enough to fill the entire sheet.

Anyway, I am looking for ideas about what to print as filler for a decal sheet printout.  So, feed me your ideas!  I model roughly 1999, so I would be interested in period-specific stuff but also generic items as well.  I'm gonna start my list and will try to figure out some way to compile a "best of" or something along those lines so that hopefully this can be of use going forward.  Please include specifics if it's something you've done before, like where you found the graphics online or what type of decal paper you used, what fixative, etc.

White
-Heavily weathered wood grain brownish-gray to be applied to (wood-looking texture but actually painted metal) deck on the IMRC 60ft farm implement flats.
-Signs-->Convenience Stores/Gas Stations: 7-11, Allsups (TX/NM), Mobile/Exxon/Texaco
-Signs-->Streets/Roadway: road construction signage, barrier stripes, orange speed limit signs
-Signs-->Retail Shops: Subway, Starbucks, Dollar Store, Walmart
-Signs-->Railroad ROW: inspection paint stencil on track, track speed indicators, whistle signs, trespass signs, etc
-Signs-->Railroad Stations/Terminals: Amtrak signs, BNSF Intermodal signs, BNSF Station/Yard Tower Signs, MOW Depot SIgns
-Signs-->Heavy Industry: Grain elevator signs, Cold Storage facility sign
Graffiti: Freight Cars, buildings, bridges
-Freight Car data/reporting marks: COTS stencils, ACI labels, tags
-Frieght Car restencils- "close enough" paint outs; UFIX, CCTX, SATX, BNSF
-Interior details/signs - Photos of convenience store shelving with items, photos of convenience store coolers with drinks

Clear
-Black/Dark Gray thin lines to use for door seals on containers.
-End pattern/coloration for crosstie stacks. (see NZT) <--Might need to be on white
-Freight Car data/reporting marks
-Window Advertisements: Fast food specials, car dealership/car windows, windows signage, etc. (might need to be "backed" with white)

Other
NOTE: I never thought about there being other color decal sheets available or what their application might be.  But I've learned from another thread that they even have full sheets of RR colors. (Microscale)   So might be useful for renumbers?  Adding "details" like louvres or *sight glass*   or something?

Some of the above don't necessarily have to be decals though, but could be.
NOTE: I'm no longer active on this forum.   If you need to contact me, use the e-mail address (or visit the website link) attached to this username.  Thanks.

On the wood note, Plywood sheet grain, for use in stressed/weathered plywood scenarios, like buildings (window coverings, etc.), boxcar interiors, loads (not stressed), etc.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
