Ok, they aren't quite FREE as the ad suggests, but they are reduced in price . . .

i bet that 4" HO tree would look good on an n scale layout.  birch trees run 40-70 feet tall.  4" in n scale is about right.

How long will it be before they show us how to add DCC to a tree?

I pulled out my desk ruler, and all three heights will work in N scale, hence why I posted here.

I ordered some birch trees. If they're a bit too long, you can always sink them deeper in the foam or snip some of the trunk.

I got mine this week and not bad $5 shipping fee for two 4" Birch trees.  that's a deal in my book.  And were delivered in less than one week

I got home last night to find my order had arrived (and within 3 days no less)- two boxes of 2 inch pines and 1 box of 3 inch oaks:

The boxes themselves are worth a look at - one end has approximate heights in N and HO, and the bottom has a handy all scales conversion chart.

Not being one to rest on my Laurels (Or my Laurel Valley) I stuck them into the little bit of scenery I have down:

I think they look pretty good next to the Woodland Scenics pre-made trees I got for Chirstmas from the in-laws, so I'm happy with it overall.  And for a company that doesn't normally do retail direct, I think MRC handled it fabulously.

I didn't buy any of the palm trees so I wouldn't know.
