"Historical Poster" of the WRS

Today I was inspired by another modeler's work to create this poster for my freelanced railroad. It was issued in 1987 as part of a marketing campaign to educate the public about the railroad's existence. See the link in my signature for the railroad's extensive website that includes information on the prototype, layout, and oodles and oodles of photos! Anyway, here's the poster. There's no contact data because this was to get the railroad in the public's mind - not generate business.

Questions and comments welcome. I used Adobe Photoshop to create this.

That's really cool - but it needs a good slogan.

"White River Southern - World-wide Rail Superiority."

You mean something other than "Worst Railroad Service?" Another suggestion has been Worst Railroad South of Canada! (for WRS Corp.)  ;D

Any suggestions? It doesn't necessarily have to be a acronym for "WRS!"

Here's a few:
1. Serving New Hampshire industry (riped off of a Clarendon and Pittsford boxcar's slogan)
2. We can handle it (just as long as UP doesn't find out ;D)
3. Snakes through the white river (no, there aren't snakes on the trains)
4. Bringing home the bacon to New hampsire (you mentioned canada-bound trains)
5. Direct route to Canada (see above)
6. Western railroad service (the guy with the cowboy hat on 8569 made me think of that)

Some roads never actually had slogans. IIRC, the BN, SP, Cheesie, and Conrail never had official slogans.

No one thought of "wobbly rail stinks" when it was bad, did they?

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.

Building off your suggestions, how about "The Gateway to Canada?" Cheesy, but it beats "We Really Suck!"  ;D

The former sounds okay, but the latter is funny ;D

"Southern New Hampshire's Gateway to Canada!" People might think it's in NY state, or even if they notice most of the towns are in New Hampshire, they'll think it's the Conn River Line or something.
