Gary, in regards to lighting, there's a company from Japan who is trying to perfect "printing" white LEDS in 2X4 foot sheets to replace 80 watts(plus the ballast) of drop-in flourecents with less than 20 watts of LEDs that are the same brightness, and for about $20 a panel. Right now, the reject rate is too high, but when and if they get it worked out, talk about a lighting revolution! Imagine, being able to cut a sheet of "light panel" to fit anywhere you want with no heat to mention, and very light weight too.
