OK OK, how many of us have stumbled across those tracks more then once in our college days?
College days?! Heck, some of us stumbled across the tracks just several weeks ago at the Fells Point Festival. I have the scars to prove it. Cursed Clipper City Peg Leg Imperial Stout and its 8.7% alcohol content.
B&O had some of these tractors too I believe..
The B&O did have a few of the tractors. For example, the book "B&O Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment" has a picture of one. Check out p.126 for the B&O's two-tone trackmobile DT-1. It even carries the Capital Dome logo. A second picture of DT-1 with a cut of three cars in front of The Cat's Eye Pub on Thames Street is on the back cover of First Quarter 2008 issue of The Sentinel for you B&O Historical Society folks.
