Intermountain has sent out their monthly email letter and have stated the first of the re-tooled passenger cars would be released in the next 3-4 months and wille a 6-6-4 sleeper. According to the email, the cars will now have removable roofs along with factory installed lighting and interior's. price according to the new schemes announced for them will be $39.95. Probably means new trucks also.

Darn it.  I don't need 6-6-4, I need 4-4-2's.  Oh well, just have to wait.

That is one of the models they are doing Bob. Hopefully they'll be released before the next century.

Know they are going to do them someday.  I've had some on order for quite awhile.  Was beginning to think they took a page from that other Vaporware company.  I'll wind up getting the Kato version before I get these (I ordered an extra add on set to try and renumber/rename the cars).  Never did like the way Centralia did their trucks, so hopefully they will ge redesigned to run better.  they have decent looking cars and the addition of lighting and an interior will be a big improvement.

Hope they do too but it will be hard to beat the aesthetics of the new Walthers trucks on the 10-6 Sleepers or probably the as yet to be released Rapido cars. Either way, lighting, interiors and a removable roof is a BIG step up for the Centralia cars.

I still have cars on order from the early Vaporware runs. Rio Grande Coaches,Shasta Daylight cars in correct color shades, told Pete at BLW that I would wait for re run when he advised the colors were off (they are on the Cotton Belt FP-7). Yes removeable roofs will be nice, and I'am sure the cost will go up to cover cost of tooling interriors, but atleast we may get cars without those evenly spaced window shades so noticeable on the PRR coaches, hey ,unless parked in a terminal with the shades all neatly adjusted the pattern is usually random. Will I ever see the Seaboard lettered version of the C&O / Rio Grande coach? That would be nice.                                                                                               Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.
