Hubert's TopGons show "arriving" at Walthers on the 16th of this month. Anyone know if this is for real? Have they been at any recent shows?

No photos on their site, which I really just don't understand, if they are almost "shipping".

Huberts is a one man operation. I haven't seen them at shows, but I've seen some of their merchandise. I am impressed that they've spent the money to re-work the tooling (For the HO cars at least) they bought from LBF. As for delivery to Walthers, I don't know.

I've seen a number of the new Huberts cars, but not the gons, and I feel the printing is much better looking than the same car done by LBF. That's N-scale. I haven't seen their HO offerings.

Hubert's had a table at the Timonium show last weekend...

I didn't notice anything "new" on the table and the few times I wandered by he was always too busy to ask.

There's no way... for starters, when they announced the car, the intention was to do a Coalporter with a TopGon tub.  Then they came around in December and said that it will be an all new car.  Recently, they asked the HO guys if the wanted cast-on or stand-alone grabs... then said they were in tooling with a test sample by March, so either they were in tooling with cast-on grabs already (so why bother to ask), or they were'nt in tooling yet.

To top it off... the guy who insists he gave them drawings and is working with Hubert's on these cars didn't give them drawings... he gave them equipment guide outlines which are absolutely useless to make a model from.
