No, Lance tore down the Monon layout and is switching to HO -- essentially building a larger version of his South Miami in that space.

Did he really do it this time or is it still a rumor?  At Naperville he still wasn't decided...

Something Bernie could have used . . . until last week  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well, at least Mike D and Erik can use fleets of these things . . .

O.K. Marty spill the beans.  Did Bernie tear down the layout?  Go back to modeling the C&O?  Did you have a sledgehammer party??

Erik

Gosh, Marty can't keep a secret.  Good thing he works for Homeland Defense and not OSD.

Anyway, I have started removing Tennessee Pass from my layout room and have been replacing it with the C&O Mountain Sub. I am using my C&O Mountain Sub oNeTRAK modules as a kick start to get this project moving.  I was able to salvage a 8 feet long section of the Mitchell Curves. If any one wants it, make me an offer. It's not a module, but could be easily added to a layout. Here is a picture of it on my basement floor. http://www.geocities.com/bkempins/TennPass/Images/TennPassTearDown626.JPG

We'll be bringing our C&O Mountain Sub modules to Louisville this summer, so you can see them there. Kirk is also going to do an article on these modules soon.

Last note I got from Lance from titled "Sunset on the Monon" - you be the judge (no rumour - he's done it)

Modeling (or attempting to model) the Central Vermont circa October 1954  . . .

Model Railroading.  The most disposable form of art there is.
