Dealers often get beat up on forums, so I wanted to drop a note about it going "right".

On Friday I ordered a quad stacker of LL FEC E7s @ $19.99 a set (another steal!) and they arrived today.

Way to go Mr. Postel!

Not well at all... although I've realized the bits all exist to model the FEC from around 1920 through today.

The problem is that the nature of it (long, straight, fast running) and terrain (flat terrain, high canopy pine trees) don't really lend themselves to easy modeling.

Gotta love those purple diesels!  Style points indeed.

FEC Florida East Coast Diesels were painted Yellow & Red in a SP Daylight-Like paint job.The Purple Diesels you were thinking of were ACL Atlantic Coast Line, streamlined cars had Purple Letter Boards, some smoothside cars briefly had an all purple scheme. FEC passenger cars were stainless with black lettering .Con Cor offers both roads they did it first on Rivarossi Fluted Pullman built cars then on their current BUDD cars. Yes Life Like has offered diesels for both roads.                                                    Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake, Utah. "How about some Seaboard lettered cars, or atleast decals."
