Okay, who is attending the National Train Show in Detroit next week? With a digital camera??  P L E A S E take some photos of any new items you see. If Micro-Trains has a test shot of the new Pullman, that would be wonderful...

But, any and everything in N scale will be appreciated by those of us in the "boonies", and I'm sure the HO and Z guys wouild like to see what's new in their scales too, if you get a chance.

Any volunteers??  8) 8)

Does Walthers go to this show?

Seems to me, with the 10-6 sleeper due out soon, perhaps they'd be willing to share word of their next sleeper to be announced. Or news of Pennsy R50b or B60b head end cars!

They have in the past; they were at both Cincinnati in 2005 and Philadelphia in 2006, so I would expect them at Detroit in 2007.

I would imagine they'll have pre-production versions of the 10-6 sleepers, hopefully someone can get some photos.

The National Train Show made today's "Pursuits" in today's The Wall Street Journal. The writer was obviously not a model railroader.  8)

Be certain
to ask Athearn, Atlas, IM, and Walthers why something as popular as the DH643 is still not released...

Apparently it was ALCo's foray into the diesel-hydraulic market.  :) :P

Only three ever made (for SP).

There are actually only two people who find the DH643 popular: you are one and, let's see, I have the name of the second here somewhere . . . . . hold on! I'll find it here in a moment . . . . . did you hear the one about the . . . . .

Okay! my mistake; apparently there is only one person who finds the DH643 popular and you is dat man!!!
