That KCS scheme is the new "Southern Belle" color scheme for covered hoppers.  ;D

Seeing as how he splits his time between running a farm and a small business, as well as moderate several Yahoo groups, help run swap meets in Leavenworth, etc. etc. etc., it's a privilege to get new decals from Tom. I'm a happy customer of his- he does great work.

Tom's decals are first rate. BTW, the IM Trinity 5161 is perfect for that KCS set.

I definitely agree about Tom's decals being first rate. The Milwaukee reefer that appears on the Masthead at times was done with his decals. I am on his mailing list, and merely commented that it had been quite a while since he added new decals. He had some illness in the family, IIRC.

Another happy customer of Toms!

I think he is really (except for Highball and some real specialists) the only ACTIVE Decal maker left.

I'd say Microscale is doing next to nothing, but that would be greatly exagerating what they are doing.

I'm a big fan of Tom's work, having decaled rolling stock for Frisco, KO&G and MP over the years. His work is dead-on awesome! And, the decals are easier to work with that the stuff from Microscale.
