Asking the perennial question: Is N Scale Kits still in business?
5 weeks since placing an order with no confirmation or a reply to followup email.
-
I'll raise you four weeks: placed the 3rd of July. Eventually I will get sick of emailing for an update and fight through the refund process at PayPal.
-
He was at the N Scale Convention in Bethlehem, PA in June. Looked like he had plenty of kits.
-
I received one update from him that actually went to a few people. After 3 emails sent months apart to allow time for response, I decided to go to PayPal and I got my money refunded. I felt I was patient waiting but received no updates about anything. I chose to use that money for other N Scale needs!
-
This is unfortunate. I liked all of his kits, and last time I purchased it came very quickly
-
I guess I'll give it some more time .I have 180 days for a Paypal refund.
I ordered 5 pkgs of the old Alan Curtis logging spine cars and will order another 10 or more if these ever show up.
(Yeah, big logging layout.)

Sadly, I had to do the same last year after 4-5 months. Ghosted me so I felt I had no choice.

I have been wanting to order one of the NTTX spine cars and one of the NS conversions, but every time I decide to pull the trigger, another one of these threads comes up. Hopefully he gets things squared away where he can communicate and deliver better.

I wish he would at least respond or update the website. I’d be in for some spine cars but I don’t wanna throw hard earned money away

Well, it's been three months. Long enough to wait for a deadbeat that has received numerous emails sent to three known addresses associated with his business. Refund claim filed.
On the plus side, a winter project will be building a master and learning to cast my own spine cars in pewter.

Same - got my money back the 28th after no responses; apparently PayPal never got a response either.
Most unfortunate.

Put me down for a few if your selling them.

Could be interested in some, as well.

As it goes with one-man operations, an illness or some other life priority can take everything offline and there's nobody else to field inquiries.
-
Someone from the UK could try to ring him and ask what's going on ?

Thank you.

Not to dig up an old thread, but has there been any news?

I emailed Peter, his normal response time was less than 48 hours. It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back. I suspect something has happened with him. I’m trying his other email now.
