Title: Bachmann S4 coupler conversion

Want to replace that boxing glove, more so for it's problematic function than it's largess size.  I removed the plate and see there's a post which I can probably cut off and stick an MT coupler in there but looking at the opening even a 905 won't fit unless you do some other shell surgery.

Has anyone done the conversion?  905?  How?  I have an idea but I want to see if an expert has done it in the past.  :)

Peteski linked this thread in my 44 Tonner overhaul thread.  He talks about swapping the coupler on the 44t and I imagine it's similar.
