PRR class E6 #460 is undergoing a restoration at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, PA.
The photos below were all taken by Dick Poole and shared with me by Bill Lewis. I have received permission to
post them here. I asked because I thought they were excellent modeling reference photos. It is very rare
that you get such close, clean shots of a steam locomotive, especially from the top angles that show the rooflines.
So please, respect the copyright. You can certainly scrape these to use for your own enjoyment and modeling, but they
are not to be reposted or otherwise published. Thank you.

Gonna need some new underpants.

A thing of beauty!
I blame my dad for my enjoyment of pre-WWII PRR steam.

Gosh, what can be said? I hope we get to see photos of it when finished. Thanks Max.

Very nice, but the smokebox rivets look way too large!

Nice photographs; thank you. Is it being restored to operating condition or for static display?

Cosmetic only.
A friend of mine stopped there today and took similar photos:

I have no idea if that link works for non-Facebook people.
