As soon as some manufacturer produces a high-quality N scale model of Seaboard Coast Line U36B #1776 in the bicentennial scheme, I'll post that. ;)

It's interesting to see a railcar with both Hostess/Wonderbread logos on the car.. (from what I recall), the union contracts for Wonder Bread/Hostess dictated that Hostess products couldn't be in Wonderbread trucks and vise versa.. but railcars were apparently OK.. :) .... Should have shipped more by rail.. ~Ian

Few shots of my BN Bicentennial units, and BN 1991, painted up after Gulf War I.

Actually all trucks had both logos. They would print Wonderbread on one side and Hostess on the other. Dane hours for the ends of the truck. This lasted until the JJ Nissan buyout when they put all three logos on each side starting in 2001-2003.
Product was always delivered together via step can or 48' trailer. They would asks
Also distribute Ralston brand cereals and several other near-off brand products. A very interesting company to say the least.

That all varied by region Daniel, that may be what was common in your area, but depending on who the original distributor in the area was would affect the truck markings significantly. And with the various bankruptcies in the last decade of Interstate Brands Corporations operation there were a lot of old trucks running around which had not been repainted/relettered. some regions had some step vans from the late 60's still in daily operation, but listed as for sale, in the early 2000's. 90% of the trucks in my area were just lettered JJ Nissan. And they had 40', 45', 48' and 53' trailers up here, some with curbside doors mounted mid trailer.
There were also some areas where IBC would operate separate trucks in the same area for bread(Wonder/Nissan, etc.) and cake(Hostess, Drakes) and you would see the trucks lettered differently.
I delivered bread for Freihofer's/Thomas/Arnold and my first truck was lettered Bouyea Fassets, the second for Freihofer's and my small trailer was lettered Freihofer's/Thomas/Arnold. Though I carried Freihofer's, Thomas, Arnold, Entenmann's, Boboli pizza crusts, and in my last couple years Sara Lee and Bimbo breads. There were other regional brands as well in the Pennsylvania region Strohemann breads would replace some or all of the Freihofer's. Our company had 45'(set up for tandem hauling) 48' and 53' trailers in various combinations of all the branding logos.
