I met David Ward at the Cocoa Beach RPM meet in January this year. He was just getting started on the idea of producing loads for freight cars. He now has a web site up and product for purchase. I have a few of his HO products and they are really nice. I have seen his N-Scale pipe loads and again, VERY nice. Please take a look at his offerings at
www.protoloads.com
Right now for N-Scale, he only has pipe loads. If you have other ideas though, please email him. He is very receptive to new load suggestions. His name is David Ward.
One other note. He purchased all the railroad guides for proper load stacking and securing. So his loads follow prototype guidelines.

nice find. His gondola pipe loads look useful. And an N Scale ductile iron pipe load would be fun too.
And yes, I emailed him to that effect.

He has some nice loads going there.Like Philip I also emailed him to that effect.Being a Z scaler also I asked him if he had or was concidering doing some Z scale loads. :D

Those raw weathers steel pipes for gons are likely to get some money out of me.
Lovin' this load:

FWIW He told me today he plans to be at Timonium in October for the DMV :ashat:'s. We need to be sure to buy him out.

I'll have to check him out at Timonium. If you want some cheap pipe loads just cut to size some of the small tubing that's use to connect the windshield wipers with the container that holds the fluid. I had some left over and it made a decent looking black pipe load.

Just a thought....
Wind turbine loads would be way cool for the current N-Scale 89 foot flatcars now available. 8)

He's got some cool stuff. He visited us at the shop right before NTS.

Wow those are some nice products! :o

Really like to see somebody make small transformers and other like-sized electrical equipment. Not the humongous ones on the Bachmann cars, ones sized to fit on the GHQ depressed=center flat and other like cars. Even two small transformers on a MTL depressed flat would look nice.

He answers his email . . . . 8)
