Forgive me if this was mentioned before, but I was happy to find out that Atlas has announced that they are re-running the B40-8W in both old and new paint schemes.

I'm looking forward to P&W 4005. Being the only fully painted engine among the three that the railroad purchased in 2010 (the other two are still in patched H2 paint), it is quite unique and looks real sharp as seen in this photo taken by Chase Smith.

A big thanks to Atlas for this announcement.

they are also running some foobies...the SP had B39-8's

Josh,
Coo paint sheme. It's a good feeling when the manufacturers do one in your flavor. I got to see a lot of the P&W colors right here in Maine. Years ago the Maine Coast had two former MLW P&W locos that operated out of Rockland.

The Dash-8 in P&W really reminds me of those MLW locos. They were by far my favorite P&W engine. I'm still annoyed Kaslo dropped the shell project.

But are they foobies? Granted, they were built to the specs of B39-8s, but the B39-8Es and the B40-8s were basically indistinguishable if you don't have a score card.
