This model, combined with the modern boxcars from MT, makes me happy.  Now, I just need an engine. :-\

I got mine this week and it looks better then the picture. Lately AZL is coming with all the cars I been waiting for. First, it was the ACF centerflow hopper, and now, the tank cars.

Can anyone provide the length? I want to make sure that I have a Tankcar Platform for this car.

length from outside coupler platform to outside coupler platform is 74mm.

I don't usually say these things, but having picked up a few of these this weekend, the flat brake wheel, the oversize seams, and the loops holding the safety railing that show up in the close-up photos arn't objectionable at all in person. It's easy to forget how small these cars are.  They're fabulous.

Right...it's important to note that my 800px wide photo on my 15" 1450pixel wide screen shows this car blown up to almost HO scale - 1/95 scale or something.
